BECOME A SCREENWRITER

The program is designed to replicate the process and environment of the film and television industry. Classrooms are styled after industry writing rooms with collaborative story sessions. You will learn how to pitch, write, produce and edit for all formats of film and television, including sitcoms, one-hour dramas, TV movies, feature films, new media, documentaries, broadcasts, news, commercials and PSA’s, and factual entertainment.

BACHELOR OF CREATIVE ARTS DEGREE PATHWAY

A creative diploma from Toronto Film School qualifies you for entry into Yorkville University’s Bachelor of Creative Arts (BCA) degree program. The BCA is designed to round out your education by teaching you the skills needed for business or leaderships positions in the creative arts.  

Plus, it opens the door to Canada’s Post-Graduation Work Permit Program (PGWP), where you may be able to obtain a work permit valid for up to 3 years.
