BECOME A VFX ARTIST

Visual Effects is the balanced amalgamation of left brain and right brain thinking, where artists rely on technical and software knowledge to bring creative ideas to life and a filmmaker’s vision to the screen. Toronto Film School’s Visual Effects for Film & TV deconstructs the VFX pipeline with a cumulative approach to teaching the art.  Each term yields a practical outcome that equips students to take up industry assignments. Students start with a still shot, blend it with 3D assets and film, add visual effects and the program culminates with students creating the final VFX shot that is evaluated by industry professionals. Students graduate prepared to handle complex VFX assignments and with a diverse portfolio that maximizes employment prospects.
