ABOUT
THE FESTIVAL
Once a year, TFS students submit their productions for the opportunity to be selected to the TFS Film Festival and Awards Showcase. The event, held at the TIFF Lightbox, screens student projects in a world-class cinema in front of industry professionals and faculty. A select group of judges review the submissions and nominate the best in their categories. A winner is selected under each category and presented at the Awards Showcase.

Presented to the winners of a category, “The Pinnacle” Award represents more than the title of Winner. It symbolizes the journey up the steep slope of entering into a TFS program and completing a project, to being judged by faculty and industry professionals.
