Acting for Film, TV, and the Theatre

Acclaimed, working actors will teach you the artistic, technical, and business sides of the industry. You’ll graduate ready to nail auditions. Learn to act for the camera and on stage, and graduate eligible for your first ACTRA credit.

Learn the creative, technical, and business areas of filmmaking with access to modern cameras and studios, on your journey to becoming the filmmaker you always wanted to be.

Film Production

Video Game Design and Animation

This skills-oriented program will embrace your passion for drawing and world building. Over several terms, you will develop your own video game.

Video Game Design and Development

Experienced game creators will teach you the problem-solving skills required to take on challenges that video game designers, programmers, and developers face today.

Writing for Film and TV

Professional, working writers will teach you how to turn your creative story ideas into saleable, commercial formats ready for production.

(This program does not have a July intake)

Graphic Design and Interactive Media

Learn how to create visual solutions for digital and print channels, while you develop a portfolio of work that showcases your new skills.

*Graphic Design and Interactive Media diploma delivered on campus takes 12 months (4 terms) to complete.

The BCA program from Yorkville University will provide you with the practical business and leadership skills needed for a career in the creative arts.

*Complete the BCA program in as few as 15 months for domestic students and 2 years for international students. With full course load, year-round study and/or approved transfer credits. Applicants are encouraged to contact an Admissions Advisor.
