Film and TV Production
Join us at our brand new, state-of-the-art studio campus in Toronto. A recent $2.5 million investment in the latest industry-grade production gear means you’ll have access to the same cameras, lenses, and lighting kits used by Hollywood studios today.

Screenwriting
Welcome to the Writers’ Room—intensive, collaborative, specialized. Work with creative peers and accomplished screenwriters while you find your writer’s voice. Network with industry professionals, learn the filmmaking business, and graduate with the skills to write professionally for any genre.

Acting for Film, TV and Theatre
Working, credited actors will teach you the artistic, technical, and business sides of the industry at our new studio campus. You’ll graduate with an impressive demo reel of work, a headshot provided by us, a complimentary theWorkbook membership, and eligibility for your first ACTRA credit.

Game Design and Animation
Conceive, design, model, and animate characters and worlds as you learn directly from working game creators. This immersive program will give you hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and workflows. Graduate with a diverse portfolio of work, ready to showcase your new skills to AAA game studios.

Game Development
Working game creators will teach you the entire video game development process for console, PC, and mobile. Graduate ready to pursue roles with leading AAA game studios, or with the skills to launch a studio of your own.

Graphic Design
Learn the critical thinking skills needed by today's graphic designers to execute creative solutions that engage target audiences. Working graphic designers will teach you the strategic design principles necessary for digital, print, and new media platforms.

Accelerate your career trajectory with our innovative Dual Enrolment program. Gain conditional admission to the YU BCA program simultaneously with your TFS program enrolment and complete them back-to-back. This streamlined approach allows you to achieve two qualifications faster (in just 3 – 4 years), while also benefiting from $10,000 in tuition savings.
Earn a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Bca) Degree
A Toronto Film School (TFS) diploma could be just the beginning of your creative career training! Imagine graduating and seamlessly transitioning into a Bachelor of Creative Arts (BCA) program at our degree pathway partner, Yorkville University. Here you will learn the skills required to take on senior leadership roles and project-based positions in today’s creative industries.
*$10,000 bursary is applied evenly across all academic terms of the BCA program. Students presenting with credentials from shorter-duration programs, such as 12-month diplomas or those diplomas obtained through fully online programs, will be required to engage in supplementary academic coursework at YU. Request a call with an admissions advisor for full details on eligibility requirements, transfer credits, and duration of TFS diploma and YU BCA program through dual enrolment. In order to qualify for entry into YU’s BCA program, TFS graduates must complete all program courses with a 1.7 CGPA in the 4.3 scale or better.
